My name is Megan and I'm a year 7 student at Hornby high school. I Joined the learning summer journey  because I really want to win a chrombook.Right now I'm working on a iPad and it's not that good. What I do for fun is play basketball Play games and other fun stuff . But I can't really do anything right now because I had surgery to get my a pendix out but hopefully it will get better so I can do sports. I just want to say that I saw your blog and it was really cool and good I liked your post and your poster and also I loved when you had a Lote of details on what you do during the summer learning journey. another day doing passion projects it was very fun but also very hard to carve the stone my friend's finished so they decided to help me. this is my shape and the meaning of it

this is my shape i'm doing its called a koru. I cant really show you my real one but this is what it looks like the pattern on it will different. (meaning) new life growth. rebirth a deep connection to the earth.

About KORU.
The koru (Maori for loop) is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver fern frond. It is an integral symbol in Maori art, carving and tattooing. where it symbolises new life growth strength and peace. Its shape conveys the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests returning to the point of origin
